Canadian Programs
Elephant Thoughts began its mission with the mindset of providing an education to some of the poorest countries and children on earth. However, we quickly acknowledged that there was a lot needed in the education system in our own home country as well.
As a charity built with teachers, we had a lot to contribute and quickly started to build our capability to do so. One of the areas we’ve always had a lot of interest in is providing schools with programming designed to increase environmental awareness and increase overall environmental stewardship in the schools. We also believe in bringing children of different cultures together and therefore design our Canadian programming to strengthen our students’ understanding of global issues.
One of our largest programs is Canada focuses on increasing the quality and standards of education amongst First Nation and Inuit school children in Canada’s remote communities. We want to make sure that these students have all the tools they need to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams as well.
Our mandate is to make sure every child has the best education possible, across the planet and here at home. We will always pursue that mission.
