A Resource for Remote Schools

As the nations leader in educational outreach to remote schools, Elephant Thoughts has a very good understanding of the challenges they face.  As such we have created a number of excellent tools that can be utilized by these schools including:

  • Access to our extensive equipment library for science and math resources
  • Professional development and support of new teachers
  • Provision of resources matched to curriculum and texts as well as training on those resources
  • Helping with lesson plans and curriculum
  • Curriculum based science workshops
  • Filling temporary gaps in the teaching work force with qualified teachers

Many schools across Canada choose to have Elephant Thoughts a part of their educational plan.  Visiting the community multiple times a year we ensure these schools keep a consistently high standard of science education and ensure provincial curriculum expectations are being addressed.  We bring new, effective, and exciting technologies and resources into the school, train the teachers on them, then leave them behind for the year.

If your school is having problems with its science program, please contact us.  We can help develop a plan that will help you out throughout the year and potentially even find the funding to make that happen.
