Earthkeepers Environmental Workshop Series
Environmental science workshops are a cornerstone of the Elephant Thoughts plan. We acknowledge the increasing importance of environmental awareness and the need for environmental stewardship topics in the elementary curricula. We identified from the very beginning that if we wanted to help break the cycle of poverty around the planet, we should also try to address how humanity takes care of this planet. For this reason we seek out partners who help us supply some of the best workshops available to public schools.
Thanks to our community partners and sponsors, many of our environmental workshops are free for schools. Each ‘science center quality’ workshop is built on the Ontario science curriculum and conveniently comes right into the classroom. At the moment we offer workshops on Conservation of Wetlands, Global Water Issues, and Renewable Energy. All of these workshops fit under the banner of ‘Earthkeepers Environmental Workshops’.
