Less than the cost of field trips, less liability, and more fun thanks to our fully hands-on activities using the latest and greatest in equipment available. It’s like bringing the science center to you!
We have a fully packaged workshop ready to go for each grade featuring a sampling of our best activities. All activities suit science curriculum expectations for that grade and will cover all four strands throughout the day.
The cost for FULL DAY programs:
$750 for one class or $1050 for two classes (assuming the same program for both classes).
That’s only $17.50 per student!
Program Catalogue:
Kindergarten Option 1: DINO MADNESS (100 minute program, cost $175)
An awesome program exploring all kids favourite extinct beasties. Hold on to snakes and lizards, look at dinos in 3-D, hold real fossils and even real dino poop, scratch and colour dinos and more.
Kindergarten Option 2: BUGS AND CREEPY CRAWLIES (100 minute program, cost $175)
Meet some real live bugs and frogs, make gooey snail slime, make gummi worms, and even get to eat some once live bugs if you want to.
Grade 1 Option 1: THE MAGIC OF SCIENCE (100 minute program, cost $175)
Excite students about the magic of science by witnessing some of our favourite experiments and demos from indoor fireworks, to meeting some live snakes and lizards, to making your own super bouncy balls.
Grade 1 Option 2: POTIONS & MIXTURES (100 minute program, cost $175)
Hogwart’s would have been jealous of our potions class. Make fogging potions with dry ice, make glow in the dark slime, grow crystals, blow bubbles that don’t pop and so much more.
Grade 2: EXPLORING SNAKES, POTIONS, STEAM BOATS & TORNADOES (full day program)
Take a fun filled ride through the grade 2 expectations by meeting snakes and lizards, making super bouncy balls, making tornadoes in the classroom, having fun with dry ice potions, using catapults and so much more.
Grade 3: ROCKETS, PLANTS & BALANCING OWLS (full day program)
Launch model rockets, build amazing fort structures, explore soil by making soil pot cakes that you can eat, play with a hovercraft and dozens of other great experiments.
Grade 4: GLOWING, GROSS, GOOEY MADNESS (full day program)
Grade 4 is one of our favourite years. Pan for gold, meet and hold live snakes and reptiles, make gummi worms, experiment with lots of great glow in the dark activities and eat bugs! And that is just getting started…
***as an added bonus, Grade 4 teachers can add one of our pieces of premium equipment at no charge. Choose from laser tag, our inflatable planetarium or our human gyroscope for a day the kids will never forget.
Grade 5: HUMAN HAMSTERS & GUINEA PIGS (full day program)
Race around in huge, inflatable human hamster balls, take a ride on a human gyroscope, examine the body with interactive human torsos, make dry potions, build earthquake proof structures and try to knock’em down on our earthquake table and more.
Grade 6: OUT OF THIS WORLD PROGRAM (full day program)
Take a trip into outer space in our inflatable planetarium, make your hair stand up with electricity, eat like an astronaut, hold live snakes and lizards, ride on a hover craft, and that is just the start of one of the biggest blast programs we have!
Grade 7: MATTER, MIXTURES, SNAKES & OWL BARF, need we say more? (full day program)
Dissect owl pellets, meet live snakes, make ice cream from scratch, make potions with dry ice, eat bugs, blow bubbles that don’t pop and dozens of other activities.
***as an added bonus, Grade 7 teachers can add one of our pieces of premium equipment at no charge. Choose from laser tag, or make crazy wax casts of your hand with our wax hand machine.
Grade 8: SPINNING WET, SNOWY, CREEPY, CRAWLY FUN (full day program)
Race around in inflatable human sized hamster balls, take a ride on the NASA designed human gyroscope, inflate cow lungs, hold onto wetland critters, make snow in the classroom and much, much, more.
