Elephant Thoughts has been a partner in rebuilding schools after the magnitude 8 earthquake that hit China’s Sichuan province on May 8, 2008. An earthquake that claimed over 50 000 lives. Together with a number of corporate partners including ISG Capital Management in New York, Elephant Thoughts was the key Canadian charity helping to rebuild a school that houses over 1200 students. In partnership with corporate donors and other NGO’s, a school was successfully built and is now up and running.
Elephant Thoughts is eager to pursue other school builds in rural China.
