Being a volunteer at Elephant Thoughts is an experience like no other. At Elephant Thoughts our ‘Volunteer Recognition Program’ is an opportunity for volunteers and employees to earn points simply by being involved with Elephant Thoughts. Points can be redeemed on a number of options.
This program is designed to:
- Ensure that volunteers and employees feel connected to every facet of the organization: domestic, First Nations, or international work.
- Help strengthen the commitment of volunteers, staff , and members by providing additional goals for their efforts. Inspire people, who have already proven themselves as individuals with the capacity to make a difference, to make an even greater difference in the world.
- Provide opportunities for people to question the world around them, evaluate what is important in their lives, and learn lessons that will make a difference not just overseas but at home as well.
Note: The ‘Volunteer Recognition Program’ is not compensation for hours worked with Elephant Thoughts. The hours accumulated have no cash value, and are redeemable only for opportunities through ET itself.
