ET Workforce prepares underserved young people to build sustainable, meaningful careers through hands-on skill development and genuine mentorship. Our Approach to Education
WHAT SETS US APART:
1- The Youth Participants
We accept individuals who come from the most difficult circumstances. This includes refugees, people from remote communities, people from areas of limited economic potential, those that are experiencing homelessness, have violence in their homes, or overcrowding situations.
2- Holistic Support:
We provide holistic support including accommodation, wages while training, mental health supports, and life skills training from financial management to health and nourishment coaching.
POSITIONS IN OUR SOCIAL ENTERPRISES:
Many traditional training programs are limited by funding parameters. Ours is different. Students begin with a 12 week foundational program, after which some are placed directly into employment. Others are invited into our Applied Learning Program, gaining further training within our Green Trade Skills, Sustainable Food Production and Culinary, or Regenerative Agriculture social enterprises. Many Applied Learners stay with us until they reach professional designations such as Red Seal, or until they launch their own business with our support.
This model allows us to support youth continuously, through ongoing learning, training, and certification, until they reach a career pathway that truly fits, resulting in outstanding success rates among the youth we work with.

Our Workforce Development Program is strongly positioned to address the challenges and inequities that currently prevent multi-barriered youth from reaching their full potential and being inspired to become ChangeMakers in their communities. We provide comprehensive training and life skills that guide youth into pathways that secure sustainable livelihoods.
Workforce Development gives youth hands-on, industry-recognized training across three high-demand fields, pairing practical skill-building with real mentorship and direct connections to employers. Each stream builds core certifications and on-the-job experience, equipping participants to step confidently into sustainable careers.
