an incredible 3 day cultural event for the entire family

Each year we invite new friends and old to join us at our Riverstone Campus in Durham, Ontario. The Riverstone property is a breathtaking eco-retreat centre with beautiful, sprawling grounds, it is truly one of a kind. With the mighty Saugeen winding quietly through the property, the entire space pulses with life, activity, natural beauty and an incredible energy. From soaring pines, to wide open grassy space, the campus is an idyllic setting for celebrating. We want you to feel right at home in this incredible setting.

Our Labour Day Festival is a cultural celebration like no other. With ticket sales limited to 300 people, the event is an incredibly intimate experience with world class acts, and enriching cultural experiences.

Experience a sweat lodge ritual lead by an Indigenous Elder, try your hand at Somalian cooking, get some river therapy with a fly fishing session, get schooled on bee keeping, or just drum and dance your heart out with guided African drum and dance sessions.  End the day with soul bursting world class music, without the crowds of a typical festival. No lines, no chaos, no crowds, no seating assignments, just wide open space and killer music.

Have kids? That’s where we really shine! Your little ones will have a ball. They can explore giant inflatable animals, fool around in our forested slackline course, run around in a body zorb, take a gardening workshop and so much  more.

This year, with your help, we are raising money for communities impacted by the current drought in Somalia and Ethiopia.

Have questions? Give us a shout.

Let’s celebrate together. We want to see you here, Labour Day weekend.
